The computer's case serves mainly as a way to physically mount and contain (as well as protect) all of the actual components inside of the PC. The size of the case can vary from small, simple boxes to tall towers, and are designed to suit many different needs. You'll want to choose a case that you like the look of, but also one with good airflow, and based on the type of Motherboard that you intend to put inside.

Things to look for:
  • Sufficient airflow is extremely important to prevent overheating
  • Make sure your case can fit your Motherboard inside it
  • Make sure your Graphics Card will fit as well
